School book pledge appeal

BUSINESSES and organisations in York are being invited to take part in a community book pledge scheme.
Wigginton Primary School is looking for donations to help staff there buy books for the new school library.
For every donation made, Usborne Books has pledged to increase the total by ten per cent.
Each book bought would have a community pledge template inside to show who had made the donation.
If anyone would like to donate, they should make cheques payable to E Graham and send them to Wigginton School Community Book Pledge, c/o E Graham, 18 Reid Park, York, YO32 3QW.
